Mr. S. P. Rawal is a seasoned business leader and financial expert with over five decades of distinguished experience in corporate management and capital markets. As Chairman of Open Future, a member of NSE, BSE, and MCSX, he has steered the company’s trading operations with a specialization in arbitrage and a consistent focus on delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

He has been recognized internationally as a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (USA) for four consecutive years and was nominated by CNBC as “The Best Financial Planner” for 2007–2008. In 2009, he ranked 76th among 1.5 million financial advisers of LIC of India, underscoring his excellence in the field.

Professional Journey

Mr. Rawal began his illustrious career with Gestetner India Ltd. (now part of the Ricoh Group) in 1964 as a Junior Executive. Over the next 36 years, he rose through the ranks to become Vice President (Sales), setting country-wide records in specific sales categories and serving in diverse leadership roles in India and abroad.

Post-retirement from Gestetner in 2000, he took the helm at Open Online Securities (P) Ltd. as Managing Director, successfully running it as an NSE/BSE sub-broker with an average turnover of ₹1,500 crore per annum.
